Elderberry Vanilla Masala Chai
Organic Elderberry Vanilla Masala (Chai). *** There are more people living in slavery right now than at any other time in history. For the entire month of December, for every bag of my Elderberry Vanilla Masala Chai sold, I'll donate $5.00 to Amirah, Inc. Amirah Inc works to aid women escaping sex trafficking. *** Included is (all organic) Darjeeling tea, elderberries, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, star anise, vanilla (fair trade and organic), black peppercorns and ground ginger. One bag makes just under one half gallon of tea. Add your own milk and sweetener of choice. Over the last few years I've made this with almond milk, coconut milk, and now I use raw milk. I use local raw honey or maple syrup with equally delicious results. Directions: for stove top, for the full bag (can be portioned out as desired): Add berries, spices and sliced vanilla pod to 10.5 cups of water and boil until your whole kitchen is fragrant. Turn down heat to medium high and add tea and 1.75 cups milk. Boil for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add sweetener. Mix in until dissolved. Strain and enjoy hot or cold. If you use honey, this will last up to 2 weeks (maybe longer, just keep an eye on it) in the fridge. 4 oz bag Thank you!!
